This month is a milestone for your East Tennessee Jazz Society. It marks eleven years since Geoff Matthews and I kicked around the idea of forming a bona-fide local organization devoted to the preservation and perpetuation of a truly American art form called jazz. Eleven years and prospering,
with thanks to all of you who attend our meetings and events.
